This isn't a classroom simulation. You'll work in an active bioprocessing environment at the POET Bioprocessing Center in the SDSU Research Park, building skills that translate directly to a career in biomanufacturing.
Hand-on Biotech Training
Lab safety, sterile technique, solution prep, bioprocessing fundamentals, and bench-top bioreactor operation.
Paid Experience
Earn while you build job-ready skills. Internship credit may also be possible depending on your institution.
Career Pathway
The program may lead to future apprenticeship opportunities in biomanufacturing. This is a real entry point into the field.
Housing Available
On-campus housing is available for rent at SDSU for participants who need it. You don't have to be local to apply.

What To Expect

- Open to recent high school graduates, community or tech college students, undergrad students, veterans, tribal learners, non-traditional learners, and international students
